The same events are available three other ways, all free and without a key:

Frequently asked questions
What is a calendar feed?
A subscription rather than a download. You add the link once and the events appear in your own calendar app alongside everything else. When we extend the data to new years, the dates arrive automatically — you never have to come back and re-download anything.
How do I subscribe in Google Calendar?
Copy the .ics link, then in Google Calendar go to Other calendars → the + button → From URL, and paste it. On a phone, tapping “Add to your calendar” usually handles it for you.
How do I subscribe in Apple Calendar?
Tapping “Add to your calendar” opens the subscription prompt directly on iPhone, iPad and Mac. If nothing happens, use File → New Calendar Subscription on a Mac and paste the .ics link.
How do I subscribe in Outlook?
In Outlook on the web, go to Add calendar → Subscribe from web and paste the .ics link. The desktop app uses Account Settings → Internet Calendars → New.
Where do the dates come from?
They are computed from the Swiss Ephemeris, the same engine professional astrology software uses — not copied from another calendar. Retrograde stations, lunations, eclipse maxima and ingresses are found to the exact moment rather than rounded off a table.
Can I use this data on my own site?
Yes. The underlying tables are published as MIT-licensed CSV at github.com/spashap/cosmyday-astro-data, and the same data is available over a free API with no key. Attribution is appreciated but not required.
