CosmyDay (“we”, “us”) operates cosmyday.com, a free astrology site offering natal charts, horoscopes, compatibility readings, and optional paid personalized reports.

For any privacy question or request, email us at support@cosmyday.com. This policy covers cosmyday.com and our embeddable widgets.

• Birth data you enter: date of birth, time of birth, birth place and its coordinates, and optionally a first name. This is what a natal chart is calculated from — without it the calculators cannot work.
• Email address: only when you request a free 12-month calendar or order a paid report.
• Order details: which reports you bought, the amount, and the payment reference returned by PayPal. We never see or store your card or PayPal login details.
• Approximate location: we look up the country and region for your IP address to show relevant pricing and statistics. The IP address itself is never stored.
• Usage data: pages visited, referring site, time on page, and interactions such as clicking a report card.

We do not ask for and do not want government identifiers, health records, or financial account numbers. Please do not send them to us.

We use a small number of cookies and scripts:

• cd_vid — our own first-party cookie (365 days). A random identifier that lets us count visits without knowing who you are.
• Google Analytics 4 — aggregate traffic and behaviour measurement.
• Microsoft Clarity — anonymised session replay and heatmaps, used to find broken or confusing pages.
• Meta (Facebook) Pixel — sets _fbp / _fbc to measure advertising results and build audiences for our ads.
• Local storage / session storage — keeps your most recent chart on your own device so you do not have to retype it. This never leaves your browser on its own.

We deliberately do not load advertising or analytics scripts on pages whose address contains personal information — shared chart links, shared compatibility links, and personal calendar pages.

• To calculate and display your chart, horoscope, or compatibility result.
• To generate, deliver, and email the reports and calendars you request.
• To process payments and provide support or refunds.
• To measure how the site performs and improve it.
• To measure and target our advertising.

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on performance of a contract for delivering what you ordered, and legitimate interests for security, analytics, and marketing.

We do not sell your personal data. We share only what each provider needs in order to run part of the service:

• Anthropic (Claude) — the chart factors behind a report (placements, aspects, and your first name) are sent to generate the written interpretation.
• PayPal — payment processing.
• Resend — delivery of transactional email.
• Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity — usage analytics.
• Meta Platforms — advertising measurement and audiences.
• Vercel and Hetzner — website and API hosting.
• MaxMind GeoLite2 — the country lookup runs on our own server from a local database; no data is sent to MaxMind.

We may also disclose data where the law requires it, or to protect our rights and the safety of our users.

Order and report records are kept while they are needed for support, refunds, and accounting. Calendar subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Analytics records are kept in aggregate. You can ask us to delete your data at any time and we will do so unless we are legally required to retain it.

Wherever you live, you can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Under the GDPR you additionally have the right to object to or restrict processing, to data portability, and to complain to your local supervisory authority. Under the CCPA/CPRA you have the right to know, to delete, to correct, and to opt out of the sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.

To exercise any of these, email support@cosmyday.com from the address you used on the site, or include the email address you gave us. We will not charge you or treat you differently for asking.

• Block or clear cookies in your browser settings.
• Install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
• Adjust your Meta ad preferences.
• Email us at support@cosmyday.com to opt out of advertising-related sharing, and we will action it manually.

CosmyDay is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
